All dogs, including Harrison go to heaven, sweet dreams!

Harrison Hunter
March 2, 1992-June 2, 2009

You gave us joy,
And gave us pain.
Your face melted hearts,
and always kept Nana sane. (sometimes)

You loved the Christmas wrapping paper,
And sang a beautiful tune.
You could always hit those high notes,
Oh how we will miss you.

You cheered us up,
When we were sad.
And put Bob through hell!
And Bob still let you cuddle with your ‘human dad’.

Your shoulder rides we’ll remember,
The many baseball trips for sure,
Many of Steve’s friends ankles,
You were really good at chasing them out the door.

So sweet Harrison, remember your sweet brother,
He will always have love for you.
I know you guys will be together always,
There could be no more loyal friends than you two.

So goodnight sweet Harrison,
Watch over us from above.
Someday we will meet again,
And be surrounded by joy, comfort, and your love.

Love always,
Your family!

Harrison's favorite resting spot, Dad's tummy, and a maroon pillow.

This past day has been a hard one, our sweet family dog that we grew up with, Harrison has now gone to doggy heaven. He was 17 years old, he was with us through everything tough times and all. Now, he is out of his pain and with 'Ceesus', as Grace said. He left behind his true companion his brother, Ali and a family full of loved ones. This is the first dog to leave us so it was hard to say good-bye. I wrote a little poem, about him and our memories with him. We love you sweet Harrison, if there is a Doggy Heaven Idol, you would so be the next Carrie Underdog, or Taylor Hick-hound. We will miss you!
